Wallace State Adult Education program adds two sites for course offerings

HANCEVILLE – Wallace State Community College’s Adult Education program has added a pair of class sites in Cullman, increasing the free GED course opportunities for prospective students in Cullman, Blount, Morgan and Winston counties.
The new class sites are at the Cullman County Extension Office each Monday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and at the Cullman Housing Authority Community Center each Monday and Wednesday from 8:30-noon and on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
Wallace State’s Adult Education program is a non-profit program that assists individuals who have discontinued public education enrollment or who do not have a high school diploma, as well as for those who need basic skill development for employment purposes.
Current Adult Education GED Classes offered by Wallace State are conducted at the following locations:
Cullman County
Daystar Church on Tuesday from 2-6 p.m. and Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
Desperation Church on Monday and Thursday from 5-9 p.m.
The Extension Office located at the Cullman County Board of Education on Monday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m.-noon.
Parkside Library in Baileyton on Monday and Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Cullman County Department of Human Resources on Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-noon.

Adult Reading on Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m.-noon.
Adult GED Prep on Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m-3 p.m.
WIA/College Prep on Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Adult GED Prep on Monday and Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
Teen Classes on Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Blount County
