This class teaches the basics of all aerial skills. Using long lengths of fabric for various wraps, hangs and drops, the result is a breathtaking combination of strength and beauty.
Jessica Brakeen will instruct the class. Brakeen has a background in dance with ballet, ballroom, tap, and color guard. Recently she participated in Cullman’s Dancing with our Stars Relay for Life fundraiser. She also teaches Ballroom Dancing with Wallace State’s Community Education Program.
The class will be offered in the Aerobics room at the Wallace State Wellness Center on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Four sessions will be offered this semester: January 17 through February 7; February 21 through March 14; April 4 through April 25; and May 2 through May 23.
The fee for the class is $40.
