Wallace State Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society welcomes new members for fall semester

HANCEVILLE – Wallace State Community College in Hanceville recently announced the induction of 92 new members into the Alpha Chi Tau Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Society of the Two-Year College.
Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 1.5 million members and 1,200 chapters located in all 50 of the United States, U.S. territories, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Germany, Marshall Islands, Micronesia and Palau.
Wallace State’s chapter is a Five Star Chapter, the highest program level recognized by Phi Theta Kappa.
Induction into Phi Theta Kappa is held twice a year at Wallace State, once in the fall and once in the spring. Students who earn a 3.5 GPA for 12 or more credit hours the previous semester are invited to join.
