Wallace State celebrates annual Christmas Children’s Party and tree lighting

HANCEVILLE – Wallace State Community College celebrated its annual Christmas children’s party and official tree lighting on Wednesday at the lobby of the James C. Bailey Center. The event allows Wallace State employees to bring their children or grandchildren to campus in order to meet Santa Claus, along with the Christmas tree being lit for the first time. Wallace State’s Singers and Jazz Band also performed at the event, which was held in Bailey Center for the first time in three years, after an extensive renovation.
