Continuing Education courses offer opportunities for new careers, advancement, certification and discovery
HANCEVILLE, Ala. — Anyone wishing to look into a new career, needs to update their certifications, wants to advance in their current career or who wishes to learn a new skill or learn about themselves can find help through Continuing Education classes at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville.
The most recent roster of classes offered at WSCC includes the following:
- Homeschool classes: Computer Graphics, Painting, Art, Music
- Defensive Driving: Ask judge for permission to take this course if you’ve received a ticket; $35
- CDL: Classes begin every four weeks; call to learn about funding
- OSHA Training: 10 hour general safety, Monday-Thursday, 4-7 p.m.; $99
- Servesafe: Feb. 3, 10, 11, 6-9 p.m., $150
- ICD-10: A&P Series: begins March 3
- CPR: 5:30-8:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 3; $50
- Dialysis Technician: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-9:30 p.m., March 18-May 6; $999
- Veterinary Assistant: Tuesdays and Thursday, 6-9:30 p.m., March 11-May 20; $1,899
