Ballroom dance, cake decorating, photography classes offered at WSCC
HANCEVILLE — Wallace State Community College’s Continuing Education added more classes to its course offerings, with new classes including ballroom dancing, cake decorating, photography and Photoshop. All classes are open to the public, with many classes offering recertification for professionals in a number of careers or opportunities for new careers.
The most recent roster of classes offered at WSCC includes the following:
- Homeschool classes: Computer Graphics, Painting, Art, Music
- Defensive Driving: Ask judge for permission to take this course if you’ve received a ticket; $35
- CDL: Classes begin every four weeks; call to learn about funding
- OSHA Training: 10 hour general safety, Monday-Thursday, 4-7 p.m.; $99
- CPR: 5:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20; $50
- Dialysis Technician: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-9:30 p.m., March 18-May 6; $999
- Veterinary Assistant: Tuesdays and Thursday, 6-9:30 p.m., March 11-May 20; $1,899
- Physical Therapy Aide: Mondays and Wednesday, 6-9:30 p.m., March 17-May 5,; $999
- Home Health Aide: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-9:30 p.m., March 10-May 14; $1,499
