Open Enrollment Runs Through June 30 for UAB-Wallace State Joint Admission Program

UABJointTransfer

HANCEVILLE, Ala.—Freshman students at Wallace State Community College looking to transfer to UAB after completing their associate degree can now take advantage of the Wallace State-UAB Joint Admission program.

Joint Admission with UAB is a program available to freshmen students (who have earned less than 24 credit hours at Wallace State) and who have not attended any other college.  Joint admission enrollees are guaranteed admission to UAB upon graduation from Wallace State with an associate degree in a transferable field of study and a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Through Joint Admission, students will have scholarship opportunities, access to UAB facilities as a Wallace State student, and will be able to meet with an on-campus UAB representative to guide them through the transfer process.  Open enrollment for the UAB Joint Admission program begins Thursday, May 15, and runs through Monday, June 30.
