Wallace State’s Adult Education program offering GED practice test for $1 and GED test for $10 through Feb. 28
HANCEVILLE, ALA. – February is a convenient month for individuals interested in studying for and attempting their GED (general education development) test.
Wallace State’s Adult Education program is part of a national initiative, which allows individuals to take the GED Ready practice test for only $1 through Feb. 28, and to save $10 when they schedule their first GED test subject.
“The national office is trying to calm the fears of the GED test being too hard to pass. We want as many people as possible to have the opportunity to attempt the test, get started in classes and get it finished,” Wallace State Director of Adult Education Kelley Jones. “If one isn’t ready to take the GED test by Feb. 28, we have a program available where a student can earn a voucher and then only pay $20.”
Wallace State Adult Education classes are taught on campus, online and at selected off-campus sites in Blount, Cullman, Morgan and Winston Counties. Off-campus sites include churches, community centers, correctional facilities and rehabilitation centers.
Students must be at least 17 years old and not enrolled in a K-12 program to register with the Adult Education program.
