Wallace State Kimberly Crauswell, Daniel Young recognized at 2015 All-Alabama Academic Team banquet
HANCEVILLE, ALA. – Wallace State Community College students Kimberly Crauswell and Daniel Young were recognized recently at the All-Alabama Academic Team Scholars banquet held at the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham.
The All-Alabama Academic Team program started in 1995, honoring some of the most distinguished academic scholars and leaders within the Alabama Community College System (ACCS). The All-Alabama Academic Team Foundation conducts the annual banquet in association with the ACCS and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Crauswell, of Graysville, maintains a 4.0 GPA at Wallace State and plans to transfer to Auburn to earn a bachelor’s degree in animal science on her way to becoming an veterinarian.
Young, of Locust Fork, also sustains a 4.0 GPA at Wallace State and plans to transfer to Auburn University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in wildlife ecology and management. He has his eye on a career with the state in wildlife management.
ACCS Chancellor Mark Heinrich and Wallace State President Vicki Karolewics presented medallions to the Wallace State students along with Alabama State Board of Education Vice President Ella Bell and District 4 Representative Yvette Richardson.
