WSCC's Alexandra Gamble earns ACCC Player of the Week
MONTGOMERY —Alexandra Gamble of Wallace State has been named the ACCC Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of October 5-11.
Gamble led the Lady Lions to a 4-2 week as the Lady Lions, including 2-2 in the Missouri State-West Plains Tournament.
Gamble averaged 10.9 assist per set, including a school record for assists in a match with 59 vs. nationally ranked Hutchinson CC. For the week, she accumulated 5 kills, 218 assists, 4 service aces, 22 digs, and 3 blocks.
The sophomore setter from Grant, AL leads the ACCC in total assist (787) and assist/set 8.65.
The Lady Lions currently stand at 26-6 overall and 12-0 in the ACCC.
