Wallace State Presented Awards by National Council on Marketing and Public Relations
Hanceville, Ala.—Wallace State Community College in Hanceville was recognized by the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) at the organization’s district conference in Biloxi, Miss. this week.
The college earned a record 16 Medallion awards, including 11 gold awards for the catalog, health brochure, newswriting, innovation in technology, the Wallace State athletics microsite, Wallace State mobile app, online services, social media design, television commercial, and website. Wallace State’s adult ed brochure, class schedule, postcards, promotional items and viewbook won silver awards.
Members of the Wallace State Communications and Marketing Department include Jesse Cobb, Russell Moore, Gail Crutchfield, Stefany Pate, and Kristen Holmes.
NCMPR represents marketing and public relations professionals at community, technical and junior colleges. As one of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR today has more than 1,550 members from more than 600 colleges across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. There are seven NCMPR district councils. District 2, NCMPR’s largest district, includes Alabama’s community colleges, and is made up of colleges from the 11 Southeastern states, Bermuda and the Bahamas.
