Wallace State Theatre Performing ‘You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown’ Thursday through Sunday
HANCEVILLE, Ala. — The Wallace State Community College Theatre Department will present “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” Nov. 5-8 at the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre.
A cast of more than a dozen Wallace State students will bring Charles M. Schulz’s classic “Peanuts” characters to life in the musical production. As Charlie Brown tries to discover what it means to be a “good man,” successfully fly his kite, and work up the nerve to talk to the Little Red-Haired Girl, his friends have their own adventures. Lucy tries to attract Schroeder, Schroeder tries to avoid Lucy, Snoopy has his adventures as the Flying Ace, Sally can’t get her jump rope untangled, Linus deals with his dependency on his blanket; and that’s just the first act.
The cast includes River Shadix of Somerville, as Charlie Brown; Megan Melton of Hayden, as Sally Brown; Hannah Stringer of Cullman, as Lucy Van Pelt; Trey Moody of Hartselle, as Snoopy; Duke Cleghorn of Cullman, as Schroeder; and Austin Barnett of Hanceville, as Linus Van Pelt.
