Wallace State hosting health fair and flu shot clinic Sept. 27
HANCEVILLE, Ala. — Wallace State Community College will host a health fair and flu shot clinic on Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Wellness Center on the Hanceville campus.
The health fair is free and open to the public. Screenings will be available for blood pressure, weight and body mass index. Flu shots are $5 or free to Medicare card holders.
A number of Wallace State programs will be on hand, including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Therapeutic Massage offering chair massages. The Culinary Arts program will offer samples of healthy recipes. Representatives from Dr. Steven Skinner’s office will offer skin care tips.
The Wellness Center is located on the west side of the Wallace State campus, next to the Tom Drake Coliseum.
