Wallace State-Oneonta hosting watercolor class on July 12
ONEONTA, Ala. — Area residents in and around Blount County who want to learn how to paint with watercolors can do just that on July 12, when the Wallace State Community College Oneonta Center hosts a beginner/intermediate watercolor class.
The class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Oneonta Center, with Cullman County artist Laura Walker leading participants step-by-step through a painting of the Marsh General Store from Locust Fork. Participants will leave with a completed 11-by-14-inch watercolor painting.
The workshop is open to anyone age 14 and up. The fee is $60 and includes all supplies and instruction. Space is limited, so a paid reservation is required.
