Wallace State’s Communications and Marketing Department earns multiple awards at ACCSPRA Conference
HANCEVILLE, ALA. – Wallace State Community College’s Communications and Marketing Department won multiple awards at the 2017 Alabama Community College System Public Relations Association (ACCSPRA) Pyramid Awards brunch earlier this month.
The Communications and Marketing team won first-place Pyramid Awards in the following:
- Flyer – International Students
- Schedule – 2017 Summer Schedule
- Wallace State College Promotional Video
- Best In Show – Wallace State College Promotional Video
- Student Success Story – Feature on Rob Glenn, Aviation/Flight Technology graduate
Wallace State was also recognized with trophies in the following categories: Poster, Catalog, Print Advertising – Single Ad – Wallace State Agriculture, and News Placement – Women Thriving in Technical Fields.
Wallace State’s Communications and Marketing team is made up of director Kristen Holmes, media specialist Jesse Cobb, writer Russell Moore, coordinator Gail Crutchfield and administrative assistant Anna Parrish.
The awards presentation caps the conference each year. Holmes is the outgoing ACCSPRA President for the 2016-2017 year, and Moore was selected as an at-large board member for the 2017-2018 year.
