ACT prep workshops planned for June 27 at Wallace State

HANCEVILLE, Ala. — Students who will soon to be taking the ACT have the opportunity to prepare for the test with two half-day workshops offered by the Wallace State Community College Alumni Association.
On Wednesday, June 27, the Alumni Association will host preparatory workshops for the English and Reading section of the ACT and the Math and Science Reasoning portion. Students can choose to take either or both of the classes. Fees for each class are $35.
The English and Reading section will be covered from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The class includes test taking tips, an English review and practice and reading review and practice.
The Math and Science Reasoning section will be covered from 1:15 to 4:30 p.m. This class also includes test taking tips, science reasoning review and practice and a math review and practice.
All classes will be held in room 511 of the James C. Bailey Center.
The workshops are geared to assist students in learning strategies to improve their test-taking approach and provide tips for the specific portions of the test under discussions.
