Wallace State’s Alpha Chi Tau Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is a 5-star achiever and each year the group has to conduct an Honors in Action project.
Wallace State Phi Theta Kappa faculty co-sponsor Brandon Smith said the Honor Society wanted to use its annual Honors in Action project this semester to distinguish how important the students are in the college’s Applied Technologies Division. Smith emphasized the need for a skilled trade workforce and how valuable it is that Wallace State offers the variety of programs it does in that division.
Phi Theta Kappa student members were in attendance at the event in addition to Wallace State administrators and Applied Technologies instructors.
