HANCEVILLE, Ala. — Applications are open for students wishing to apply for WSCC Scholarships. There are a number of scholarships available to current Wallace students as well as incoming freshmen. Scholarship will be awarded for up to two academic years beginning in Fall 2020.

Scholarships available include:

  • Presidential Scholarships
  • Academic Excellence Scholarships
  • Leadership Scholarships
  • Performing Arts Scholarships
  • Allied Health and Nursing Scholarships
  • Career Technical Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and are not guaranteed based minimum requirements in each category. Minimum requirements vary by scholarship.

Students may apply for multiple WSCC Scholarships; however, they can be awarded only one as the scholarships are not stackable.

Scholarship applications must be completed online by Feb. 18. Find the link to the application at www.wallacestate.edu/financial-aid/wscc-scholarships. Students are required to apply for Federal Aid at www.fafsa.gov. A WSCC application for admission, official transcripts, and a scholarship application must be on file at the college before a scholarship can be awarded.

For additional information or questions, contact Stacey Sivley at 256.352.8241 or stacey.sivley@wallacestate.edu.

Additional scholarship opportunities will be offered through the Wallace State Future Foundation, with applications open from Jan. 13 to March 2, 2020. The Future Foundation lists more than 150 scholarships, some open to students in any program and others for specific programs or students. These scholarships are geared toward filing the gap between students who may not qualify for financial aid or other scholarships and to assist students who may need a little help in completing their education. Future Foundation scholarships are stackable and can also be combined with WSCC Scholarships.  Qualifications for the scholarships vary. Visit www.wsccfuturefoundation.org for more information.
