Registration continues at Wallace State
HANCEVILLE, Ala. — Registration for the Spring 2020 semester continues at Wallace State Community College, with multiple options for new and returning students to enroll in classes.
Registration will be held through Wednesday, Jan. 15 for the regular Spring 2020 term, which began Jan. 8 and continues through April 30. Registration for Flex Term II classes, which run from March 5 through April 30, also continues through Jan. 15. Registration for Flex Term II will reopen for one day on March 5.
Flex Term classes are offered in two separate 8-week mini terms each semester, offering students the opportunity to complete more classes within the semester. Most of the classes offered during Flex Terms are core classes, such as biology, English, math, history, etc., as well as some elective courses.
A new option offered this spring includes Open Learning courses, with registration dates of Jan. 13-17 for Open Learning Term I and Jan. 20-24 for Open Learning Term II. Students may register anytime during these windows for these self-paced online classes offered for college credit.
Open Learning Term classes include Art Appreciation, English Composition I, Precalculus Algebra, Music Appreciation and General Psychology.
Students now have at least six start dates each semester through Wallace State. Online classes, day, evening, and weekend option make pursuing higher education and convenient for any schedule. Non-credit workforce training options are also available.
