MEDIA ADVISORY – Wallace State hosting ASPIRE 2030 business and industry forum on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 8 a.m.
HANCEVILLE, ALA. – The Alabama Community College System (ACCS) has launched ASPIRE 2030 (Achieving System-wide Potential through Increased Resources and Engagement), an initiative to inspire community-focused strategic planning for capital and other improvement projects for member institutions during the next decade. Each ACCS institution is conducting community-focused visioning sessions to gather input from key stakeholders that will inform the institution’s strategic planning going forward.
The initiative’s intent is to realize the potential for ACCS to improve Alabama through strategic investments in local college projects, projects that will engage the local community, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, better align services to business and industry needs, and, ultimately, increase student success.
Wallace State conducted a health-science focused planning session Tuesday with faculty members, administration, program advisory committee members and others. An applied technologies and STEM session will take place Wednesday morning.
The media is invited to attend.
