The Wallace State Alumni Association is planning a two-night trip to the Music City in June, complete with lodging at the Opryland Hotel, reserved seats at the Grand Ole Opry and much more. The Nashville Getaway Weekend is scheduled for June 22-24 and the cost of the trip includes motorcoach transportation as well as all taxes, baggage handling and resort fees.
“This trip would be a wonderful trip for a girlfriends’ getaway or for anyone who loves to visit Nashville but may not like to drive in the city or find parking,” said LaDonna Allen, WSCC Alumni Coordinator. “We will be within walking distance to Opry Mills and the Grand Ole Opry, or shuttle service from the hotel will also be available. We’ll also provide door-to-door transportation to downtown Nashville for scheduled visits to attractions there.”
The itinerary for the trip includes a show at the Grand Ole Opry, a guided tour of Nashville, a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and the new Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, a Delta Boat Ride at the Opryland Resort and time for shopping at Opry Mills Mall. Three meals – two breakfasts and one dinner at Cock of the Walk – are also included. Not counting transportation, the value of the trip is worth more than $650 per person.
The cost of the trip for Wallace State Alumni Association members starts at $335 per person for quad occupancy and goes up to $509 for single occupancy. Non-member rates are $100 more per person. Alumni Association trips are open to everyone. Reservations are limited and the deadline to register is May 1. To register or for more information, visit www.wsccalumni.org/nashville18 or contact Allen at 256.352.8071 or ladonna.allen@wallacestate.edu.
