Wallace State’s Communications and Marketing Department wins six medallion awards at NCMPR District Conference

HANCEVILLE, ALA. – Wallace State Community College in Hanceville was recently recognized by the National Council for the Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) at the organization’s district conference in Woodstock, Ga.
Wallace State won six Medallion Awards in the flyer (Small Farmer Training), postcard (Welcome to the Pride), specialty publications (WSCC’s History Book),electronic publications (Fall 2018 Class Schedule), original photography-manipulated (Christmas tree lighting), and for television/video advertisement (from the Discover Your Story campaign) categories.
NCMPR represents marketing and public relations professionals at community, technical and junior colleges. As one of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR today has more than 1,550 members from more than 600 colleges across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. There are seven NCMPR district councils. District 2, NCMPR’s largest district, includes Alabama’s community colleges, and is made up of colleges from the 11 Southeastern states, Bermuda and the Bahamas.
