Oneonta Mayor Ross Norris signs proclamation, recognizing Wallace State during Community College Month

HANCEVILLE, ALA. – Oneonta Mayor Ross Norris and the City of Oneonta recognized Wallace State this week, presenting a proclamation to honor the college during Community College Month.
Said Ross Norris: “It’s an honor to work with Wallace State and President Dr. Vicki Karolewics and all of the administration. Students come from all over to enroll at the Oneonta campus. We have students drive from Blount, St. Clair and Jefferson Counties. I look forward to seeing the college grow here even more. Our work with Wallace State is one of our proudest accomplishments.”
The City of Oneonta and Wallace State Community College will host a ribbon cutting and open house for the new flagship facility for Wallace State’s Oneonta campus center on Monday, April 29, beginning at noon.
