Free tutoring available for Wallace State students during summer semester

HANCEVILLE – Wallace State Community College students have several free tutoring opportunities this summer.
Free tutoring in all English and reading classes, including transitional learning is available at the Computer Science building on Tuesday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Sessions are held in office 14. Email Ms. Ambrose at peggy.ambrose@yahoo.com to set up an appointment or one can show up at his/her convenience.
Free tutoring sessions are available in biology as well in room 7 of the chemistry building. Students interested can email jreid21@student.wallacestate.edu to set up a special appointment or show up at the following times: Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday from 3:30 to 6 p.m. or Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Also, the Wallace State Tutorial Lab, located on the eighth floor of the James C. Bailey Center, is available for those seeking assistance through Student Support Services. The lab’s summer hours are Mondays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
