Wallace State’s Lions’ Pride sessions underway this summer

HANCEVILLE, ALA. – Wallace State Community College is preparing for the fall 2016 semester by conducting its annual Lions’ Pride orientation sessions for new students. The college has hosted a pair of Lions’ Pride sessions this summer in Hanceville and three more opportunities (Thursday, July 25 and July 27) remain for students to attend before the fall semester begins on Wednesday, Aug. 17. Each Lions’ Pride session begins at 1 p.m., and is held at the School of Nursing and Center for Science building.
Lions’ Pride is designed to give new Wallace State students a head start into their college careers, helping them learn more about the college and allowing them to meet one-on-one with an advisor in order to build their fall semester schedule. New students are encouraged to attend a Lions’ Pride session in order to establish a plan of study to accomplish their educational and career goals.
Registration for the fall semester at both the Hanceville and Oneonta locations continues through August 23.
