Wallace State Nursing faculty congratulated for job well done

The faculty of the Wallace State Community College Department of Nursing Education gathered on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, in celebration of a successful year that was topped off by the program’s achievement of earning the National League for Nursing’s prestigious designation as a Center of Excellence in Nursing EducationTM for 2016-2020. The college is one of only 15 to earn the distinction this year, and one of only two colleges and universities in the state. Lisa German, Dean of Health Sciences, praised the faculty for their “dogged determination” in all they do to ensure the success of their students and the program.
