Wallace State hosting Career Fair at Bailey Center on April 16

HANCEVILLE – Interested in what employers are seeking in prospective job applicants? Wallace State has an opportunity for you.
The college is hosting a Career Fair on April 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the lobby of the James C. Bailey Center.
The fair will feature a variety of employers and career fields, including advanced manufacturing, business, healthcare and law enforcement among others, and is open to current Wallace State students, former students, graduates and soon-to-be graduates.
Employers who have confirmed participation include Athens State, the Alabama Career Center, Lowe’s Home Center, North Alabama, Eva Bank, the UAB School of Business, Crawford Broadcasting, Tutor Doctor, Northeast Regional Medical Center, Vision America, Walker Baptist Medical Center, American Family Care, Huntsville Hospital, NARCOG, Noland Health Service, the Alabama Department of Correction, the Cullman County Sheriff’s Department, Command Alkon, Alabama Power, ATI Firth Sterling, Automation Personnel Services, General Dynamics, Hyco Alabama, Royal Technologies, Steelscape, Inc., Steward Machine Company, Surge Staffing, the United States Air Force, Topre American Corporation and Yutaka.
Interested attendees are asked to dress for success and can also sign up for one-on-one sessions on improving their resume or interviewing skills.
The Career Fair is hosted by PAVES, Wallace State Career Services and the Wallace State Alumni Association and open to anyone.
